Privacy Policy
Ace is designed so that ordinary learning can happen without an account or a server.
Information Ace handles
- Your practice progress, individual answers, goals, target score, grade, and streak are stored locally on your device.
- Ace does not require an account, run third-party advertising, sell personal information, or use data for cross-app tracking.
- Ace uses PostHog to understand anonymous product usage such as onboarding completion, lesson completion, review-mode use, and paywall performance. Events use a random install identifier, basic app/device metadata, and coarse categories rather than names, contact details, question text, raw answers, grades, or exact scores. Session replay and automatic interaction or screen capture are disabled.
- If you choose to purchase Ace Plus, Apple processes the transaction and manages the subscription. RevenueCat helps Ace validate access, understand subscription status, and connect Apple Ads campaign performance to subscription outcomes. Ace does not receive your full payment-card information.
Sharing and retention
Individual question history and written responses remain on your device. Anonymous product events are processed by PostHog, and purchase and entitlement information is processed by Apple and RevenueCat as service providers. Apple Ads attribution uses Apple's privacy-preserving AdServices system. Ace does not request permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites and does not collect the IDFA.
The first name entered during onboarding is profile context stored only on the device. It is not sent to PostHog or RevenueCat.
The app may open official SAT or ACT practice links in your browser; those websites have their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You can erase locally stored progress from You → Settings → Reset progress. Deleting Ace also removes its locally stored data from your device, subject to your device backup settings.
Children
Ace does not knowingly collect names, contact information, school information, birth dates, or precise locations from children. There is no student account profile to sell, share for behavioral advertising, or use for cross-app tracking.
Changes to this policy
If Ace’s privacy practices change, we will update this page and revise the date above before the change takes effect.
